Ever had the problem with “^M”  characters showing up in your code?  This typically happens when the file is created in a windows/dos based editor and then transferred to linux. This is because dos carriage returns are “\n\r”, unix “\n”.  The extra character shows up as “^M”.

Ok here is how to get rid of them. Install “dos2linux” using apt, yum or whatever your distro uses. Then simply run {code}dos2linux myfile{/code}
